The multi-talented Tenfield Golden Retrievers live in my home and are my family.

I have been owned continously by a Golden Retriever since 1975 and have also been owned by Beagles and Basenjis.

My dogs are my passion!

The Golden Retrievers have been worked on shoots and have competed in Working Tests, Obedience and Agility over the years.  Showing has been a major hobby and I have owned Champion Golden Retrievers and a Basenji.  This absorbing hobby has allowed me to judge my beloved breeds all over the world and has made me friends in every continent.

Temperament, biddability, trainability, good health and longevity are my primary aim when breeding.  I endeavour to produce confident well-adjusted puppies, with happy dispostions, smiley faces and waggy tails.  Many Tenfield Goldens have gone to be successful show dogs and Assistance Dogs over the years, but the vast majority have been simply much loved pets.

A litter is bred here only once, or occasionally twice a year and there is always a waiting list for a well reared Tenfield Golden Retriever puppy, though there are often puppies available by the boys from carefully chosen partners.

Our first litter was produced in 1989 and we are currently eight generations down the line.

People have returned for a second, third, fourth, fifth and even sixth Tenfield Golden, they are very collectable!

I am a member of the Kennel Club's Assured Breeder Scheme and also of most of the Basenji and Golden Retriever Breed Clubs.  I am also passionate about preserving our beautiful pedigree dog breeds and canine health testing in general.

Feel free to contact me for advice or information on Basenjis or Golden Retrievers, or indeed dogs in general.
